1. Check for any damage or wear and tear on the ladder rungs, sides, and feet.
2. Verify that the ladder is stable and secure when extended and in use.

4. Ensure that the ladder is clean and free from any debris or slippery substances that could cause accidents. Verify that any locks, hinges, or other moving parts are functioning correctly.
5. Check that the ladder conforms to any relevant safety standards and regulations. Provide any necessary instructions or warnings to the surveyor regarding the safe and proper use of the ladder.
